Once upon a time in the United States of America, when the Country was still young, Patriotic Glory rose to a higher level of the responsibility of the activities and pursuits of Americas citizens – not the politicians but the people, America was not only divided between the states of the north and the south, but in the Rights and the Wrongs of a people in a thriving society and a growing nation. Therefore America needed a cause a Glorious Cause which would bring the society into a much more Civilized State and Abolitionist and Anti-slavery proponents filled this need for America to strive for a country where all are free to build their own futures. The new Visionaries of America struggled for the liberation and freedom of those that did not have it and rallied against those who took advantage of those freedoms. This was The Glorious Cause – A Visionary cause and philosophy led by Abolitionist – the people that would bring about A New Nation, A new republic and a new democracy for all – a society that is not just for the gentlemen of property and standing.

THE ARCHITECTS OF FREEDOM AND LIBERATION TRAIL (The Liberators Trail)

As Tribute to the Architects of Freedom and Country when The True Revolution was the Glorious Cause – The Intersection of Americas Crossroad to freedom (The Walk of Fame)

A new historic trial is planned for the city of Boston which will not only be a boost for Tourism which will bring economic development to Boston, The trail will shed light upon much of Bostons history and Bostons Roots which has been sidelined to Bostons 18th century history during Americas struggle for independence during 1776 Colonial Era. The battle for True Freedom in America extended over nearly another 100 years until the political recconstution of this country during the later half of the 19th century.

The new trail is to be named “The Architects of Freedom and Liberation Trail” which will emphasize Americas original Liberators or Abolitionist during Americas early period of economic development and literary address and concern for the future of the country. Who sought to build and create a better foundation for the country by striving for the constitutional rights of America’s enslaved population during that period and addressing the issues of America’s constitution and other founding documents. The trail reflects upon a time when the country was much divided literally and ideologically.

The trail also emphasizes Boston’s Roots in Abolitionist history as the main foundation for the True – Completion of an American Revolution, which is The True Revolution – The struggle for the end of Slavery and slave law in America.

The trails focus is based upon The Boston riot of 1835, it represents the epicenter of national abolitionist developments therefore it is a combination of other historical trails connected to the Boston Roots- Architects Of Freedom/Liberation Trail,

The Black Heritage Trail, The Woman’s Heritage Trail and the Abolitionist Trail/Boston’s Freedom Trial Trail.

Sites on the Architects of Freedom Trail are to raise the consciousness about 19th Century America as America transformers from a Colonial nation into a thriving nation of Commercial and Industrial invention – In essence The Birth of the Nation after years of huge equality gaps due to the predominance of Slavery and slave laws in America – which needed to be brought to an end.

The 20th Century: Political Leadership and Changing America, The Shirley Chisholm Factor

Shirley Chisholms Presidential Campaign - revolutionized America during the 1970′s and became a revolutionary woman known around the world for bringing change to America and one of the top 10 most important women in the world/history. She constructed the foundation for the renewed and revolutionized American society of TODAY.

Founding Bi-centennial Tribute/Memorial Event:

BA Week 2006 was in remembrance of Benjamin Banneker an original member of the planning team of 1791 which surveyed, planned, and designed the capital building area in Washington D.C., The Federal District, he passed 200 years ago in 1806.

Dedicated Black architectural professionals have been unrecognized in the fight against discrimination and neglect by mainstream American society but have demonstrated an outstanding track record of accomplishments and have provided the cultural integrity and leadership necessary in a peaceful effort to guide society and the architectural profession in the right direction of urban justice for urban communities.

Acknowledging the disparity, gap and crisis in the field of architecture and the need to address the need for more access, education and exposure and promotion of black architecture and the creative achievements of the field which benefit our world and urban communities I endorse and recommend that a week of cultural recognition be dedicated to the recognition and honor of the black architects and architectural professionals who serve society in an uncompromising and honorable fashion who are dedicated to building society for the betterment of our future. So to ensure we are educated about the facts of the progressive black architectural culture in our city and the communities of Boston I propose a week of cultural celebration and events to recognize the catalyst and leaders who facilitate and poses the knowledge and technology of creating the urban and architectural renaissance necessary to save our communities from urban plight and decay…all contributions weather large or small are all apart of building and designing a better and brighter future for the of our city and country.

I therefore endorse this Landmark Event & Resolution to create a week of awareness about the dedicated architects of our future.

Since 2003, there have been four ROCs. At each one, participants have talked about how we can do our work in a way that brings about radical change (gets to the root causes of problems). In that spirit, the ROC Summer Institute will offer short courses that allow participants to think even more deeply about the “big picture” and learn new skills as they continue their practical work for justice.
